All Football Officials Listen Up! In less than one week, Valentine’s Day will be upon us. I thought it would be nice to take a moment from our Rules Study, off-season fitness focus, officiating camp research, and occasional couch potato-ness and send some love to those that support us and our football officiating passion (and sometimes fanatical pursuit).
Truth is we often forget about those friends and loved ones that support us. Football season can be a trying time for officals and families alike. Nights away from home, weekends consumed by multi-set games or extensive travel. The Honey Do list gets longer, the chores begin to mount, your kids forget what you look like. We’ve all been there and most have a t-shirt to prove it!
So on this Valentine’s Day take a moment to say thanks to those that are there for you. We preach about the team on the field and relying on each other for support. That team often extends far beyond the marked lines of the football field. Sacrafices are made on a continual basis to allow each of us to pursue this football officiatingfootball officiating
