January will be Fitness for Football Officials month at www.profootballreferee.com. After receiving quite a bit of feedback via emails, Facebook comments and Tweets about fitness I’m taking the fitness topic into my own hands. Who better to be our Fitness Poster Boy than Ed Hochuli. I’m sure most of us have watched Ed Hochuli on TV and marveled at his top physical conditioning.

So back to Fitness. I don’t profess to be an expert on ANY  fitness topics. I’m just an end-user. So when I say taking this into my own hands…Well really not my hands. I’ve enlisted the help of my friend, Craig Ballantyne.

The Officiating crew for the recent Jefferson County East West All Stars was Dennis Criddle, Todd Skaggs, Alan Grey, Paul Schardein, Andy Faust. The annual contest sponsored by the local coach’s association features the best players in the Louisville, KY area and was held in early December. This year’s contest was also sponsored by Stomp Out Cancer who provided the sweet ride!
