January was Fitness for Football Officials month. After receiving tons of emails, Facebook messages and Twitter Tweets about the topic of fitness and being in top physical condition I decided to make Fitness the theme for a month.
I reached out to my friend Craig Ballentyne to be a guest blogger for a month. Craig is a fitness guru who writes a column for Men’s Fitness and is the creator of the Turbulence Training workout program (which I follow).
This blog post will consolidate all the blog posts for the Fitness for Football Officials theme and puts them all in one location for easy reference. Here they are in order:
All Football Officials Listen Up! In less than one week, Valentine’s Day will be upon us. I thought it would be nice to take a moment from our Rules Study, off-season fitness focus, officiating camp research, and occasional couch potato-ness and send some love to those that support us and our football officiating passion (and sometimes fanatical pursuit).
My friend Chip Etier,Etierphotography, has recently started a new blog focusing on high school and college football officiating.
If you have a moment, drop by and pay his blog a visit. It’s called ZebraTales (appropriately named!) and you can find it at http://zebratales.blogspot.com/
